Project Cross References

Cross reference your Toggl projects to QuickBooks projects and classes. You can do both!Toggl Projects to QuickBooks Projects

QuickBooks Online offers a Project feature to allow subscribers to track their project costs. TimeSaver supports the ability to cross-reference your Toggl projects with your QuickBooks Online projects.

This works just like your Client and User cross reference screens. Simply choose a project in Toggl from the drop-down (the associated client is shown in parenthesis), and the corresponding project in QuickBooks online.

When TimeSaver detects a project cross reference, it will use it to select the Project in QuickBooks. Since projects are related to, but more specific than, customers in QuickBooks Online, this rule will take precedence over any rules you have already set up in your TimeSaver Client cross references.

Toggl Projects to QuickBooks Classes

In QuickBooks, you can also use classes to categorize and report on your data. Some of our users prefer to use classes to categorize their time in QuickBooks. 

So, in addition to being able to cross-reference projects to QBO projects, we also let you associate projects with classes!

When TimeSaver detects a class cross-ref, it will mark the class on the time activity in QBO:

Note that in QuickBooks you can track classes either at the Transaction Level (i.e. one-per-transaction) and the Transaction Detail Line level. This feature works when your company settings are set up to track classes at the Transaction Level.
