Here are the ground rules for creating Client cross references in TimeSaver:
  1. If you choose not to cross-reference a Toggl customer to QuickBooks, the time entry will be pushed into QuickBooks-but it will be created without a customer cross-reference; and therefore it will not be billable. (Note: any such time entry may still be used for payroll purposes since it is associated with an employee or vendor as discussed in the Cross-Referencing Toggl Users article).  
  2. You may cross-reference different Toggl clients to the same QuickBooks customer (e.g. "Baratheon Hunting Outfitters" and "Bob's Wild Boar Roasts" in Toggl may both be cross-referenced to "Baratheon Enterprises" customer in QBO).
  3. Only one cross-reference rule for each Toggl client is allowed. (e.g. in the example below, "Baratheon Industries" in Toggl cannot be cross-referenced to two different QBO customers).
